A striking 1940s Art Deco burr walnut dressing table, professionally restored and refinished in Coal Black with elegant gold detailing.
This is a genuine one-of-a-kind vintage piece, combining the extraordinary figuring of the original burr walnut with a sophisticated contemporary Art Deco finish. With seven drawers and its original adjustable mirror, it can be used as either a luxurious dressing table or, with the mirror removed, an elegant statement desk.
Beautiful Original Burr Walnut
The walnut veneer on this piece was simply too beautiful to cover. The richly figured drawer fronts have been carefully restored to showcase their warm tones and distinctive rippled grain, making every drawer subtly different.
Coal Black frames the walnut beautifully, while fine gold geometric detailing draws attention to the shape of the piece and gives a subtle nod to its Art Deco heritage. The original handles have also been carefully restored and retained.
Original Art Deco Details
The original shaped mirror is fully adjustable and removable, while seven useful drawers provide generous storage. Dating from the 1940s, this is a substantial vintage piece that combines original character with a professionally refinished contemporary finish.
