AVAILABLE TO COMMISSION
Love this design?
The original Nathan bureau has now sold, but I can source a similar vintage bureau and create a bespoke version especially for you.

MAKE IT YOUR OWN
Your commissioned bureau can be tailored to suit your home, with your choice of colour, decorative detailing and finish. Original teak can be retained and restored wherever possible, creating that beautiful combination of natural wood and colour.
As every vintage piece is unique, the exact style, dimensions and wood grain will vary. Sourcing costs will also depend on the condition and availability of suitable furniture.

ABOUT THE ORIGINAL NATHAN BUREAU
Nathan is one of those vintage furniture brands that takes us back to the days before furniture arrived flat-packed with an Allen key and a sheet of impossible instructions.
Beautifully made and built to last, its pieces have a warmth and character that still fit effortlessly into modern homes.

This mid-century bureau was given a softer new look in rich Manor Green with delicate gold botanical detailing. The warm teak was retained and restored, creating a beautiful contrast with the deep green finish.
The gold botanical design brings a gentle decorative feel to the piece without taking away from its original mid-century character.
Inside, the bureau opens to reveal its original fitted compartments and pigeonholes, while the drawers below provide practical storage. The fold-down writing surface makes it ideal as a compact home workspace, writing desk or even an alternative drinks cabinet.
