THE ASTORIA
A bespoke Art Deco cocktail cabinet design, available to commission.
Bring a little glamour back to cocktail hour.
This beautifully restored vintage oak cocktail cabinet has been transformed into a striking statement piece, combining the warmth and character of the original wood with the elegance and glamour of Art Deco design.
The original oak has been carefully stripped and refinished to reveal its rich grain and warm golden tones. Deep navy blue detailing contrasts against the natural oak, while fine hand-painted bronze geometric lines sweep across the cabinet doors, creating a bold architectural pattern inspired by the Art Deco era.
New brushed brass handles complete the exterior and add just the right touch of understated glamour.
But the real surprise is waiting inside.
Pull the upper cabinet open and the mirrored cocktail bar comes to life. The illuminated interior creates a wonderful glow, reflecting across the original mirrors and transforming the cabinet into its own miniature bar. The serving area slides forward to provide a fabulous space for preparing and pouring drinks — perfect for everything from a classic Martini to your favourite evening cocktail.
Original period details have been retained wherever possible, including the charming vintage cocktail spikes and original vintage mirrors giving the cabinet a wonderful sense of its history.
Open the lower doors and you'll discover generous additional storage for bottles, glassware and bar accessories. The interior has been refinished in coordinating deep blue and finished with an elegant metallic Art Deco geometric design, carrying the glamour of the exterior through to the inside.
The result is much more than drinks storage. It's a piece of vintage furniture designed to be noticed.
Closed, the warm oak, deep blue and bronze detailing create an elegant statement piece for a living or dining room. Open it for the evening and it becomes a wonderfully theatrical home bar — ready for cocktails, celebrations and entertaining.
A unique piece for anyone who loves original vintage furniture, Art Deco styling and interiors with a little personality.
Carefully restored and refinished by hand, this is a one-of-a-kind piece that celebrates the craftsmanship of the past while giving it an entirely new chapter.
