This drinks cabinet was manufactured by Rivington of London in the 1950's and was definitely designed to be a statement piece of furniture,
with its fabulous mirrored interior and atmospheric lighting.

It has been professionally painted and restored to enhance the beauty of this vintage piece.

The top of the cabinet has a drop down pull up lid which opens up to reveal a sliding cocktail bar complete with original lighting, vintage mirrors, cocktail spikes and lemon squeezer. A new gold striped mirror has been added to the preparation area perfect for serving up all those decadent drinks.

Below is a large lockable cupboard with a fixed shelf ideal for storing bottles and glasses and to the sides you have the added feature of interior lighting which when switched on casts a warm soft glow through the gold metal fretwork.

The main body has been hand painted in coal black mineral paint and finished off with a high performance matt top coat for extra protection.

The doors have been stripped, sanded and sealed with osmo polyx oil to bring out the very best of the beautiful burr walnut grain and a striking gold geometric design has been added to the cupboard door fronts.
The interior has also been painted in coal black and lined with a black and gold metallic print creating a dramatic back drop for the ambient lighting, finished off in a satin top coat for extra durability.

All the original lights have been completely rewired and automatically switch on when the top section is opened and switches off when closed.

Packaging
Safe delivery of my furniture is of the up most importance to me. Every piece is wrapped in bubble wrap, strong cardboard and shrink wrap to ensure your furniture arrives in perfect condition.
As with all restored furniture they have seen a previous life and may show some minor signs of age, which adds to its character and charm.
